Cape Town is famous for completely unpredictable weather. Spring has only just come to the Mother City, yet Saturday saw temperatures soaring above 35 degrees. The karting circuit was practically deserted for practice, with only a few brave souls sweltering in the heat preparing for the next race.

In stark contrast, main circuit was a hive of activity as motorsport enthusiasts battled it out in Round 7 of the 2019 Power Series.

The welcome return of the Clubmans series with over 50 entries added to the racing festival atmosphere.
